Our World Affairs Council is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing global education and programs to inform citizens about world affairs. Banking on Baghdad represents the very best of investigation, solid historical context, presentation of key issues and all in a powerful and accessible writing style. His book, based on the research of Iraq’s long history has been very timely, well-received and stimulated great interest in the world beyond our national borders.
